Japanese Food Show 1: Curry Udon

Hi People!

So, as the first food show, I will present you the following place.
With the food show itself, I plan to create blog entries that  show places and meals I enjoyed a lot and hope to show you people, so you won’t miss it when traveling! =)

So without further ado, here is the place I want to present today:

Wakashachiya: Lunch Time!

With lunch, a lot of the restaurants you will visit have a special lunch menu that is usually a little bit cheaper than the rest of the house. Often, you also see the house’ recommendation.

Here, I ordered a curry udon (thicker Japanese noodles) with tonkatsu (deep-fried pork) and rice. It also comes with some small side dishes like a salad.

I have to say that it is a lot to eat, even though I eat a lot! I usually eat with the rice bowl in my left hand and the chopsticks in my right. Either I take some of the noodles or a piece of tonkatsu and place either one in my rice bowl. Eating bit by bit with some rice and curry sauce, you soon realize that you actually ate way more than usual! Might only be methough…

That’s it for now! See you soon =)
